The most recent use of the Palestinian flag appears to be yesterday during the counter protests. I have no idea why as they had nothing to do with Gaza. Maybe someone wanted something to wave and found it in a skip, or feels so disturbed about the plight of the people there they thought this was an opportunity for it to be seen. I don’t know. You just think you know. I am not the least angry. I rarely get angry. Appalled, disgusted yes. Angry no. Attitudes such as yours don’t deserve anger. That would imply they have some merit. They deserve scorn. You can associate yourself with the stupid insults as much as you like. Insults from here are regarded by me the same way as compliments are from elsewhere. They are proudly worn as a badge of office. The more I get the more I know the truth is hurting those who resort to them. They wanted something to wave and found it in a skip? That's possible.

Nasty! Need a thick skin then. Just as well I have one the number of times it is directed at me here!

I suppose they'd be arrested if they smashed windows, burnt police vehicles, threw missiles at police and attacked religious buildings. How many arrests were there and what are the charges? How many arrested in Harehills?

And now we'll see what the government do about it, won't we. Presumably fast tracked and custodial sentences. If not why not?

I have never suggested they are. Those initiating and fermenting the rioting seem to be. Most of us, me included, are against illegal migration. Strangely enough so are the far right protesters

It will be interesting to see whether the 'fast-track', 'make an example of 'em'' approach applies here. Anyone prepared to bet on it?

But has he been arrested They had to. One wonders how a man that stupid can become a Labour councillor. Then again, one wonders how people are stupid enough to vote Labour.
