Thought I would re-visit this now we have played some of our rivals. I made a mistake with Leicester and have corrected the first table. ............P........Pts....Pts/game Palace......10.........25......2.5 Leicester have lost their last two and their average has dropped accordingly. Southampton look doomed for sure.

Usually by this time of the year one team is cut adrift at the bottom leaving two places to fill.

There are some key relegation battles coming up, but the key ones for the relegation battle are:
For me these are the teams scraping for that 3rd spot. Leicester need to win at least two of these and draw the other. But defeats for those two teams would be disaster! There are other games but given the positions these are the important ones.

Statistics dam statistics, you can get them to tell what ever story you want. The true and only statistic that counts is whilst the bottom three teams can still surpass our points total from the games left to play, then we are still in a relegation battle!

Definitely and I don't think any of them will reach 34 points, so I reckon we are almost already safe.

I said last season I wanted Leeds to stay up as I don’t rate them and they don’t invest enough. Same applies now. Leicester if they stay up are more likely to turn things around. Big if though.
