It's happening across the media. Those who don't conform to the new laws are not only charged, but have their addresses, employer, photos and photos of their family splashed across the front pages. How's that for not inciting violence ? Edited by Forest Hillbilly (08 Aug 2024 7.27am)

It's not over yet. The legal team of the islamic terrorist are going to the European Court of Human Rights, a court that our far-left government recognise and conform to their rulings. We all know what the ECHR will decide - perhaps Wisbelch can put her up in one of his digs. Linekar has a big house

I realise the officers will do their jobs as instructed but surely there will be some kind of screening to exclude those whose behaviour shows concern? I would love to see a feasible pathway out of this mess but don’t see anything that could bring anything quickly. Do you? All done on paper, they won’t have even a cursory interview. Many will be granted under the details they have given, which may not be correct.

Hi Rolf, are you just back from the demo or are you just keyboard warrioring? Maybe you’re Stephen Yaxley-Lennon? He never turns up if there’s a chance of being arrested either. Oh the irony of calling someone else a keyboard warrior

What are the government going to do about far-left, terrorist supporting, thugish mobs rampaging on our streets last night? Edited by georgenorman (08 Aug 2024 8.15am)

Australia used to have the right idea, b turning boats back, and any that got through, were held on an island prison, prior to deporting. Trouble is, it's all gone a bit legal and Human Rights, and them pesky boat people arrive without paperwork or any means of ID'ing their origin. My own idea of deterrence would involve a few initial deaths by drowning, but then should be fine as boat numbers are vastly reduced by fear and choice Edited by Forest Hillbilly (08 Aug 2024 8.14am)

As much as I loathe Robinson that is not true. He has been arrested on multiple occasions after he was warned by the Police and courts.

Finding common ground with the French would obviously help and you will know why I think shooting ourselves in both feet in 2016 has made that much harder. In many ways we only have ourselves to blame for the lack of cooperation. If it’s all done “on paper” does that mean background checks and identity verification are still done? Presumably our security forces maintain lists of people of interest and will have ways of flagging them in the system.

When he has organised it to be videoed and used later to show how he is being targeted! When he must pay fines and compensation to those he has wronged he has avoided court. As he did 2 weeks ago when he failed to show and was found to have left the country. I believe an order for his detention has been made by the Judge in that case which won’t come into effect immediately so as to give him the opportunity to attend court voluntarily and explain his absence. We do try so hard to be fair don’t we! Will we see him here again? I rather doubt it. I have a feeling he will be heading to the US, where most of his backing apparently originates. Stirring the pot whilst lying in the sun, or put better, lying whilst lying in the sun, seems to suit him.

So that can’t be used as an excuse. Obviously checks are done but only on the details given by the undocumented applicants. If you had something to hide and arrived with no documentation would you give the correct details? Everyone will be fingerprinted so previous removals will be identified
