Another win against Southampton next weekend and we could start to look up the table again instead of down.

That took me to looking whether we could possibly overhaul Chelsea.

They have to play

Brighton
Man Utd
arsenal
Brentford
Bournemouth
Forest
City

I would only Forest is the game that they likely to win.

Imagine if we could finish above them !!!!

They could easily lose to Brighton, Utd, Arsenal, Brentford and City.

Pretty close to ruling us out of the running

I agree, but I remember a few classic cock ups & some avoidable relegations
(that celebratory lap of the pitch only to be caught by Oldham?)
Im optimistic itll be more of the same next week, 3pts, which will be (nearly) job done.

if anybody wishes to waste some money you can get 150/1 about us being relegated with betfair or 888

We mustn’t get ahead of ourselves but obviously we look a lot safer now , and if anyone has any doubts then back us at 33/1 for relegation and will soften the blow

We ain’t going down now

33/1 is highest I’ve seen? And I work for bookmakers 150/1 would be mental

Update I have indeed seen you are correct ,

after that performance , i believe we won't be relegated.

i think this season is a 35 point relegation escape target season(maybe it looked like a 40 in october/november, but not now)
we already have 33 points
We have:
Southampton: Expected 1.31
Everton: Expected 1.85
Wolves: Expected 1.37
West Ham: Expected 1.57
Spurs: Expected 1.00
Bournemouth: Expected 1.90
Fulham: Expected 1.33
Forest: Expected 2.04

Total expected points 12.37
Total points needed: 2

I just don't see a path to relegation.

Take our last two games
Leeds: Expected:1.14
Leicester: Expected:1.42

Total expected points:2.56
Total Real Points:6

so while 45 points is a central guess atm( with a possible improvement given recent overperformance) i don't see any world in which Oldham-eque events happen( we have a GD of -11 , the teams in relegation places have GDs closer to -30)
