I don’t mind getting beat - wasn’t expecting anything from today anyway and most of us would have excepted 6 points from our first 4 games given who we had to play and our current injuries. But and there’s always a but, to go down 4 zip without even giving it a go is so annoying and that’s down to the Manager afraid to say..!! Eze looks like he is comfortable at this level could be a real star - probably the only positive from today. Only other positive you can take is that now hopefully Hodgson/the club will realise we still need some additions to the squad in this window. Centre half definitely and a forward Ayew looked like little boy lost today - I know we have Bats to come back in. My birthday weekend too - gutted..!! COYP

Our issue is our total inability to keep hold of the ball when we play against anyone with a half decent midfield. Zaha, Eze, Ayew produced nothing, Townsend marginally better. Havertz needed to be stopped and I can’t understand why we didn’t mark him out the game.
