Poor after Eze went off. Robbed though by two penalty decisions, one of which shouldn’t have been given and one that should and we were on the wrong end of both decisions.

We lost to a very good Everton team, who have spent massively and have a CL winning manager by a BS penalty. Deserved something but got nothing. Ignore the Everton media willy waving, we'll be just fine.

We just lack that one player in the middle of park... We all know how hard working McCarthy and MacArthur are but we lack that midfielder with some real quality who can unlock things... Really hope Ferguson is ready soon... Ward is so limited going forward and it shows so much.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Guaita poor for first goal and Ward capped off another embarrassment of a display by giving away the most ridiculous of penalties. Back to Business as Usual then.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Guaita not good enough again. McCarthy can't pass. Stupid decision to take Eze off. Harsh pen. Ayew no goal in 11 now - needs dropping.

Pretty even game made uneven by these stupid handball decisions. Still I thought it was a pretty positive performance. Eze looks like a real player who will continue to get better (tailed once he went off). Another very solid performance from young Mitchell and solid from the CBs and central midfielder's. Once Ferguson is fully fit and maybe one or two more additions there's no reason why we can't have an enjoyable season. Unlucky today lads. Chelsea next, easy!
