If Roy doesn't renew then I think the Danny and Nicky Cowley are interesting but would obviously represent a bit of a punt.

Does he still have the ear of promising German players? When you bring in a foreign coach you hope he still has the sway to bring good players at reasonable prices with him. For me, this is one of the things that has been missing at Palace by having a string of English managers.

The problem is that there is every chance we will NOT be in the PL next season.

If this is our fate, I cannot see Hodgson being our manager and some of the names mentioned on this thread will be totally out of reach.
