Great point, rode our luck but who cares.
Referee was shocking but VAR is allowing them to do what they want now with little fear of reprisal as well as they know that if they get it wrong someone else might right the error leaving them with no egg on face!
Happy days though - beating Man Utd away, drawing with Arsenal away - great stuff Palace!

Seeing my Millwall and Charlton mates tonight will enjoy pointing out that Zaha didn't dive.

As others have posted VAR has been a real benefit against the big teams. The MOTM moaned all weekend about it probably because their favourite big team didn't get away with it.

One more point

We were shocking in the first fifteen minutes and really struggled to defend their set pieces all game.
We fought back well and deserved at least a point.
I just wish we could be more of a threat with our own set pieces.
At the end of the game yesterday we had Cahill, Tomkins, Benteke and Kouyate who are all a threat in the air and yet our set pieces continued to be floated into their keeper’s hands.
Why can’t we vary the corners, whip a few in, or aim some at the near post ?
We give the appearance of never working on set pieces and it’s such an important part of the game.

Brilliant point, great comeback etc...but still small details we should improve on.

Watching the goals this morning our Number 8 absolutely bottles closing down their first goal and makes himself as small as possible because he's scared of being hit by a football.

I fully support JA's reaction to being subbed and the joker that replaced him CB, gave Arsenal the ball, which led to a corner and then passed it to them again in our box from which they hit the net.

Fortunately it was ruled out, but come on CB as well as not scoring you have become a 12th man for the opposition.

A great pass for their disallowed goal.
Should not be anywhere a palace shirt, let alone playing for the 1st team.
Shame that WH returned to form; otherwise would have been 3 points.

He hasn't returned to form. Guita is injured.

Great comeback to earn a point. Pepe caused all sorts of problems with his crosses. Didn't seem able to deal with them at all well even though they didn't seem all that dangerous ? Expect to see Guaita back when fit and maybe the Beast might of helped in there. Shame we don't have a decent crosser although JMac's cross for the 2nd was superb. He had a great game, Luka was good as well. Good start after 10 games, particularly after our summer spending spree, lol. Up 5 points on games played. Would be overjoyed with 3 points from next 3, keeping us nicely ahead of the game. COYP !!

Yep, definitely an area to improve in. If it can't move forward on the training ground then need a dead ball specialist like Pepe. Don't even need to spend an earthly/look abroad, look at Maddisson from the Championship. If the wheels fall off at Soton, Ward Prowse is also a good shout.

Leicester signed Maddison from Norwich for £20 Mill rising to £24 Mill.
He created 100 chances in the PL last season, the most by an Englishman for 6 seasons.

On the subject of Pepe, I think Arsenal have paid £70m ( on hp of course ) for a dead ball specialist. In open play he isn't doing anything too special at the moment.

Re the game ; I think the defence got spooked by conceding those 2 early goals from corners and as a result struggled all game against them. That was out of character. And although he atoned for it with some good saves, I put the first goal down to WH - should never have tried to get through a crowd of players.

You always need a bit of luck against the top teams and I thought we got that with their disallowed goal, but that aside I think we were value for a draw.

Martin Atkinson had a match to forget. How he could get it so wrong for the foul on Wilf, given he was well positioned to see it, is beyond me. But he also missed numerous other offences. I would also question whether Chambers should have been booked for the penalty incident because had he have been, he would have gone for a second yellow in the second half.

At Lille he scored an average of a goal every 2 games.Last season he scored 23 goals from the wing and provided 12 assists.
But as we are all aware, the French league is different to the PL in terms of intensity and the quality of players.
Pepe does have a tremendous free-kick in his locker and in this respect he is better than Zaha.

Yes he is.

I know who I'd rather have though !
