I am in my middle 70's and can remember that Croydon area always had gangs and thugs roaming the streets and causing problems and beating up/filling in the weaker members of the area and as is most places now, so it is not a new thing just put in the press and media which does not make it any better in my view. Seems the police in Croydon keep out of the way at nights???
