British Values?

I stay clear of political debates on HOL as they would only disintegrate into yet another tedious and wearisome WILLO thread. All I will say is that the UK is the second largest contributor in aid for Syria (USA are first) with over £1 BILLION pounds contributed thus far - more than the likes of Germany,France,Netherlands etc combined.So whilst the left go on about Syrian children etc etc, lets us NOT forget the contribution we have made and will continue to make, which is totally forgotten. For avoidance of doubt, I'm a bigoted, dyed-in-the-wool Tory, on the right-wing of my party !!!! This is my last post on this thread. Edited by Willo (11 Feb 2017 12.12pm)

If your point is correct, I have no reason to refute it. People who come to contribute to the UK are obviously welcome, its the people who come to be a drain on our already creaking system, that most people have issues with.

A large part of society have no desire to improve themselves, just happy to drag along at the bottom of the food chain, not the values I was taught when younger.

Apparently there are 170,000 bogus asylum seekers of which 81,000 are in Germany unaccounted for so I think they must be paid a considerable amount as unless they return voluntarily it is beyond German law. 55,000 have stuck their fingers up to Germany and returned already.
