With respect, we absolutely battered Leicester and were unlucky or still too hungover from PV to not score more. We went from going consecutive games without a shot on target to breaking a long standing PL record for most efforts in a single half.

As for Connor Gallagher, PV may still have a job if we had him, as he would if we had Erling, Mo, Kevin, Harry, Alisson etc etc however we do not, we are Palace and we have who we have and PV couldn’t even win us a game for months thus he does not have a job anymore. Roy did so at first ask.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We are 12th so there's only 8 teams below us. One of the 8 (Leeds) has averaged 1 point per game.

So does that mean my wider point is wrong and we’re going down?

Just to be clear the person you are referring to is called Conor, not Conner or Connor.
So much is written about him on here, but rarely is his name spelt correctly. Its pointless to keep on about him, as he isnt coming back, its like a girlfriend running off with another bloke, you just need to get over it and move on, no point pining for an ex.

I've no idea.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Everton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Forest. It seems obvious to say, win these remaining home games and we'll be fine.

Three wins will easily see us stay up and two will probably be enough. In fact as I said earlier on this thread, looking at the fixtures, Southampton, Leicester and Forest will all struggle and I doubt any of them will reach 34 points.

And after we play them tomorrow and we lose then in a week we have gone from 12 to 15, the results today have certainly not gone our way

Its not to bad, it looks like Southampton, Leicester and Forest will have to get 4 wins out of 8 games, its not going to happen.

Winning one a drawing the rest could well be enough.

But I'm happy if we win them all
