Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

However they are extremely organised and spend all their time dividing us. Until we work that out, nothing will change.

Mixed race man at protest explains it’s not racist or about race to be against illegal immigration. There were quite a few men like him at the ‘Unite The Kingdom’ march in London that Tommy Robinson got banged up for showing the exposure video about Kirklees.

So, local council or UK government supplied tenants equals guaranteed income; private tenants doesn't. No worries for you then. I'm just waiting for the day when pressure is applied to you for not wanting to take in a particular tenant. I have had properties wrecked by private tenants recommended by agents plus many months of unpaid rent before they did so and disappeared. The council handle crisis cases and offer guarantees in some cases but they are still private contracts. If a hotel is empty there is no income or jobs. No holidaymakers out spending money, especially off season. This year has been quiet up to now, due to poor weather.

There’s lots of rooms for every visitor. It’s been a slow season up to now. Some Hotels prefer 52 weeks of smaller income per week than 7 weeks of bigger. Perhaps you need to visit here yourself before declaring someone who lives here is wrong!

Blimey you have not been paying attention. There are countless stories of the government hiring hotels for refugees and the hotel management sacking most of the staff. As there are not providing a hotel level service they only need a few to do the cleaning. So not great for the staff and not great for the local economy. In the meantime if you are a tourist the amount of accommodation was significantly reduced which meant that those hotels that were still available jacked up their prices. Even the dumb Tories recognised this was a bad deal for the local economy and so stopped doing it. Still better than it being boarded up and empty and awaiting planning approval to be converted into flats.

Most of them had a thriving business but the government offered them all year round guaranteed income without them having to spend money on advertising. On top of this the government insisted they did not need most of the staff so that means that the owners could lower their costs. If you owned a hotel what's not to like? It was not good for the local economy and tourism and was certainly not good for the taxpayer.
