I see. That didn't jump out so much when I read it. It does include 2 different interview/quotes from women and their pictures though. I'd have thought using students/ pupils etc is just to get round not having to refer to primary kids as women or older teenagers as girls. Seemed kind of logical to me. I guess it's just me I was criticising the author of the article for failing to mention female pronouns. If you are writing about a subject that pertains to girls menstruation it is quite an achievement somehow not to mention the words girls or females. It's a woke article desperate not to offend the TG community on a serious subject. Never mind I guess we are all becoming de-sensitised to political correctness that we no longer notice it.

I have a meeting with my 11 year old boys (private) school tomorrow. I’ve complained about the curriculum before but noticed a project they are working on and it’s insidious mature. Basically it’s called “poetry from other cultures” but all the cultures are brown people and all are former parts of the British empire pakistan, Nigeria and Guyana). 5 out of 6 “poets” are women. All the poems are about oppression, loss and how tough it is living in a western country (which surprise surprise all of the poets do) On top of this they have an entire lesson called “individuals in society” which is basically full on rainbow indoctrination in every aspect of life. I fear the left are now so fully in control pushing back on this will be impossible. And it’s accelerating.

Surely there is a sensible school out there? When the private schools are pushing globalist, anti western, anti white crap you have to question what you are paying for. The leftist infection within the humanities and social sciences has been spreading to the traditional subjects and it's not going to stop because the institutional leaders now realise that it's the political zeitgeist and they are toast unless they fall in line.....It really is going to take a Johnson and Cummings to take the bull by the horns and start sacking a lot of people. I think that it's going to take a zero tolerance approach to correct it. I'm not sure it's a war they are interested in yet, if at all. They are focused on the civil service and Brexit. The left don't employ the right....in stark contrast to how the right treated them. The replacements for academics like Starkey and Ferguson are not treading the boards and the alternative view is not being broadcast.

This may come has a horrific shock to you, but "brown" people and women do write poetry too. Hey, some of it may even be worth studying! This forum of angry men shouting at clouds really is racing itself to the bottom.

I find it hard to take any conversation seriously when it's banded around do freely. I guess soon there'll be a new term for the people who call out the 'woke'.
