We need another six to seven points, Roy has decent defending players to work with and as a manager he begins with them as a priority so we'll be much harder to break down, If we fail to not achieve the points we need then we probably deserve to go down.

If we fail to not achieve the points we need, by definition we won't have gone down!

Latest OPTA stats reveal that the chances of us being relegated is 3%, Southampton are at 85%.
Of course these stats will change game on game.

Stats cannot take account of the Oldham factor… More performances like Saturday are required

Agh, Oldham!! The problem is that there is nobody who has been cut adrift yet, so a win - or even a draw - by somebody below us, has a huge effect on a movement up or down the table. The mathematical calculations today that we need 38 or 39 points, or whatever, are meaningless if a few teams manage to get a win whilst we draw or lose our fixture of that day. Game 38 against Forest could be the decider for both of us. And don't forget that our six-pointers are also six-pointers for the opposition!

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Yes and there will be lots of "squeaky bum" days like today, with Bournemouth, Leicester and Leeds all playing games, albeit Leeds play Forest.

I'm also hoping Liverpool beat Chelsea.

Deluded optimism thy name is Nicholas91!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Looking at the fixtures, Forest and Southampton will need to turn into Top 4 teams to stay up. They won’t. I’m hoping Everton but I’m thinking Leicester for the 3rd spot

Bournemouth, Leicester and Forest all lose tonight.

Leeds just below us need a draw there at least.
