It wouldn't compute.

It wouldn't compute. I realise that it’s a lot of effort to make to actually read beyond the first paragraph of the article. Especially when you just got very exited by the headline. Should you take the time read the whole article you will see that the empty Carrefour shelves are the direct result of a strike at the distribution centre.

However, the point that the obsession with Brexit that remainers have over temporary supply issues is little more than a cope compared to the huge damage that's been done to the economy....both ours and the west by the covid response. That's behind the economic 'drivers'...so to speak....far more than Brexit.

Some countries appear to have coped far better than others. It appears, however, that this crisis is coming to an end. As the government has been saying, many of the problems we are experiencing are the result of post Covid economic activity starting up all at once. Restaurants, abortoirs, etc all unable to find staff.

Apparently as many as 4% think brexit is going very well. There is no accounting for taste.

They have now said that you can come now and stay until the end of March- at least 300 can, thats 6 months in my book, it might have more chance of attracting people but will probably be a year by next week as this crisis grows! I might tune in to the Farage show on gb news when thats announced, even for the 6 month announcement.
