Very good.
I recall twisting and turning on the dance floors in my halcyon days of libidinous behaviour.

I know we scored 2 goals without Wilf on Saturday, which for any other side is like scoring 10 goals. But moving forward, I don't see us scoring many/any goals until/unless Zaha returns. Losing Wilf at this point of the season is incredibly horrible luck. With him, I think we'd be safe. Without him, it's hard to imagine scenarios where we outscore other teams to pick up 3 points.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Wilbraham is spot on. Although the 3 points were very welcome i don't think we are going to find to many worst team's than Leicester (no surprise to Rogers sacked after their performance)
I am though happy to be playing Leeds after they have to play at home to Forest midweek as this game will a hard battle and will a good idea on how they will approach the game against us.
Leeds were actually one of my picks at the start of the season to go down. Forest are going through an injury crisis and i think Wolves are looking vulnerable.

Three weeks til our next home game, let’s hope he’s back for that. The way Roy will set us up away from home I expect to be far more defensive and Wilf would be less crucial than he was on Saturday.

On the contrary, we are a better side without him. More balanced, responsibility spread across the front line. Ironic that the last few games under PV when Zaha returned we lost, previously when he was out through injury we scraped a string of draws. As you mention, against Leicester we scored 2 after he had gone off, again with injury. A sign of what's to come.

When Wilf is on the pitch he is almost always our first choice out ball - I am not saying I would rather do without him full time but for sure I would like to see us become a tad less predictable & make better use of our other assets.

I can only imagine that players follow instinct and previous instruction; i.e. when Zaha was our only outlet it seems natural to attempt to find him with the ball. Times change and now we have other options who need to step up and demand the ball. I would imagine the next manager will make better use of all our attacking options in a more balanced way.
Incidentally I was watching the Newcastle v Man U highlights and was impressed by the directness and speed of the Newcastle breaks. There's no nonsense in their play, it's all pretty direct - down the wing, get the cross in with numbers following up in the box. It takes energy and fitness to play like this. We don't appear to have that attacking pace, and Zaha, who was our main outlet in the past seems to have lost a good deal of his, so it is inevitable that things will change in one way or another.

To be truthful, I DID dabble once, and only time, at a wedding where the family of the bride and groom hailed from Scotland.Rest assured I was not wearing a kilt.

My wife, then my girlfriend, cackled like a well-fed Hyena not able to contain her mirth concluding that I looked like a galumphing great idiot. The lady still went ahead and married me!
