Gallagher turned that around for us, every positive move we made involved him. Even without the goals he was our best man today.

The first half is one of the worst that I have seen in a long time.

Schlupp made a difference.

I have beer, so it could be worse. I'll respect the point as it looked unlikely for most of the game.

Only saw the second half. Great to see us playing so positively and taking a team on.

Gallagher was sensational.

Appart from Anderson's mistake for the goal everyone else looked pretty solid.

They thrashed Leicester last week.

Great away point.

In addition to two excellent goals, Gallagher delivered one cross and one free kick which should have resulted in goals.

All credit to the players and the manager for a hard-fought match in difficult circumstances. During the first half, the energy of the Spammers and fans led me to think 4-0 to them was a distinct possibility.

That's why we play Big Ben to head the ball to create the chance for Galagher . What a player he seem to be . All looking good for the future .

Nice comeback. CG not only scores but can take corners and free kicks, looks like our savior. Not convinced MacArthur should be a starter, looked way too slow in midfield.

I confess that my half-time summary ("Game over. We are s***e." ) was somewhat premature.

Oh Gallagher thanky you so much!! We are not at the best atm and we still drew with those Spammers who thought they would trash us and we want us relegated!

Gallagher legend draw is ok considering tough start and key injuries!

Big up the Palace!!!!

once Eze and Olise are back McArthur, Luka, Jairo and Kouyate will barely get a look-in in midfield (Jairo and Kouyate can play in defence), Schlupp can only really play as an attacking left-sided midfielder (inside left) - he is only really effective if we play 4-1-2-3 with a right sided attacking midfielder opposite him and one player playing anchor (was Luka now Will). Hughes, Gallagher and Eze will be our midfield, with Olise breathing down their necks. Three games in and 'experts' who don't know our situation talking like we're down already - utter b*ll*x, the transition is working, we can put our faith in Vieira, whatever he said and did at half time certainly did the trick.

Hi guys,

I don't often post on here but having just watched the game Im so happy.

Observations:

• CG and the new players bring such a new positivity to the team that the others seem to have had beaten out of them.

• so good to see PV get a point and see his new team score goals

• On first half performance we "hang on in there" as become our DNA but second half we started see the new potential Palace

• First half I would have given Wardy man of the match as he never stopped giving. People might think Im mad but compared to his heriocs and effort what were Ayew, Zaha and Tekkers giving? nothing!!

• Tonight was a great comeback and grit perforce so well done Palace and im so happy about PV, CG, Guehi, Andersen, (new excited blood)

• Mitchel doing great for a youngster but don't keep passing to him under pressure - he's learning

Just some thoughts but great point ... Im happy
