HT verdict: decent performance. Don’t deserve to be behind but paid price for one sloppy moment. Mitchell yet to settle into the game. Shape looks good. Ayew’s dribbles are great. Kouyate not being ready did my head in. Here’s hoping we get something. Come on lads...

No offence mate, I’ll actually praise you for your optimism, but can’t see anything changing second half.

We’ll be extremely, extremely lucky to get anything out of this. All set for 8 on the trot

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

How can anyone blame Ward for that goal, absolutely poor from Townsend.

Townsend was abysmal but what the f*** was Ward at. Stood there like a spare prick keeping them onside. We need to start from scratch and buy a whole new squad.

Townsend and Ward. Brilliant ball best Mitchell can’t blame him imo

Very poor from Townsend who has seen better days.

However Ward was not in line with his defenders when they pushed out and 5ft 4in Podence just ran past him to score with a header.

Rob Green on 5Live made the point that everything with Roy is system, system, system even when attacking.

Wolves look like a side allowed to express themselves.

My 70 year old mother (not a well known football commentator) just chipped in with “Palace seem to concede a lot in the first half and then not score”

Seems she has sussed the problem where Roy hasn’t.

Didn't push up to play anyone offside and stood still and watched the ball come in to Podence to score.

Townsend at fault but he could have tried to bail him out one way or the other.

We don't seem to learn. Kept passing the ball sideways or back in our own danger area

Not just that, whenever we have the ball, our entire team either stands still or moves back to their goal. How many times do we start at midfield and end up passing all the back to Guaita?

He plays CB for Senegal ffs

That doesn’t mean anything. Point is for us, he plays in midfield and we play a different system to Senegal. He has played at CB for us before and looked suspect. Another one of Roy’s “experience before all else” decisions. Not even hating on roy for this game, we just have no attacking quality.

Wow, you are defending the manager even when no-one mentions him now. Are you sure you are not related to him.

Oh get lost, was that goal down to Roy then in your eyes?
