Unlike many of our wins this season, totally deserved from the performance. If our finishing was better this would have been a hammering.

Credit to Roy for actually getting us to play with a higher intensity, more positivity and pressing today. I didn't think he'd do it but he did. Confident we can have a decent end to the season now.

Can easily see the bottom 5 all losing this weekend. Bring on the Weed.

Thank god for that. A much needed win and a good set of results for us elsewhere. Ayew excellent today but I wish Roy could find a way of getting both him and Townsend into the team without having to play Ayew at centre forward.

Lucky win. Played against the poorest team in the PL in terms of possession and attacking football (yes, much poorer than Norwich).

11 matches to go, still a long distance. Other matches won;t be as easy as against Newcastle. But perhaps the team can gain momentum

Next year definitely should be something else and I have no faith in the possibility of the management to make a good squad.

What are you on about? We were by far the better team today and deserved to win.

My screen kept freezing everytime Newcastle attacked I think I had 3 heart attacks today although in hindsight nothing to worry about really.

I think what has been demonstrated here is that quite a few fans have over-reacted to some average and unlucky results of late. (which is their right of course)

Today's win should be taken as a clear message that this Palace team is too good to go down.....Our position right now is a fair reflection and we could finish higher.

Now, once Zaha goes, in the next transfer window, it's all about what follows after that.

Let done Roy - spot on with team and tactics

At times we had 3 up front with Jordan and Wilf pushing forward - best performance in ages... 1-0 really flattered them

Magnificent shift by all the players but Jordan was the star man today

Really didn't miss Luca today

absolutely agree with these comments a hard grind but a win even if it is against the team that are the second lowest scorers in the league (us being the worst!). 18 shots on goal only 9 on target and only 1 scored, these stats are a worry, why Roy waited until 89 mins to sub Benteke is strange as everytime he plays its like turning out with 10 men, could not even head a goal when six yards out!

Just a little bit early to make such bold statements, we have some important games to come, that we must win before can be sure of that. Today was a step in the right direction but we still have to be able to score to win games and we are not good at that!
