Excellent comment..one or two people on here could learn from this attitude, but lets not hold our breath.

Re Kelly, it was perhaps a lapse in concentration caused by fatigue.
let’s not be in too much of a hurry to put the boot in with unkind words. For 99.9999 per the cent of the time, he’s Mr Reliable.

To be fair to our posters, I don't think we're putting the boot in. We're disappointed, perhaps even a bit angry, and he's bound to be criticised. But I think we all accept that these things happen, and that on this occasion he just happened to be the poor sap responsible for the loss of 2 points. He'll play brilliantly on Wednesday.

The Mail on Sunday article a couple of moths back highlighted that VAR could only be accurate to a margin of error ranging anything from 13cm minimum up to potential 38.8cm!!! (due to freeze technology and judging when the ball was played). This is just a farce when they are examining it to such a microscopic degree.

Also working out where to draw the lines is done by a human and not technology so yet further room for error!

How you can decide when the ball was played, where wilf’s shoulder ends and arm begins EXACTLY and where that is in relation to a boot with a margin of error of up to almost 39cm is a flippin joke and VAR is ruining the game in its current form and interpretation.

Im agreeing with all of that .

Still happy with a point in the end . Could have been worse after gifting them a lifeline back into the match .Really felt for Kelly ,s*** happens .

They should use feet nothing else and give priority to the attacking team, we need goals in football.

What a dumb excuse how are they suppose to get experience if never getting any minutes in Prem game.

Like I said whats the point even including them on the bench.

With so many injuries and games close together he should be trying out other players just look how well Ried has done coming in yet Roy lost interest in him as well a pattern here. (I bet he gets dropped straight away when PVA or Schlupp comes back)

Yes no matter what Roy does you are never happy. You have to be
the most negative poster on this forum.

You got your name right as Grumpy sums you up to a tee.

We seem intent on passing the ball around at the back needlessly until someone is forced into an error, we did it in the first half with Sakho almost gifting them! ...this s*** should not happen.

Am I missing something here. Palace have lost only one of their last 7 games, that was against Newcastle in a match they should have won. Still there are people out there slagging Roy and individual players who are fatigued having to play several games because of injuries to a squad that is paper thin.

Thank you, thank you.

I’ve been saying that for ages. 2 if not 3 perfectly good goals been ruled out today. Beyond the idiotic and ridiculous.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

You can't please some of the dopes on here, talking all their cobblers about Roy.
Since he's been with us we've had our most successful spell ever in the Premier League. The guy has spent hardly any money, and more than half the team are out injured, and we are still picking up plenty of points, and they are still having a go at him.

If you use feet you stil have the variance of 13cm to 38cm in the system to deal with.
The better way would be to have it as offside only if there is daylight between the players.
Easier to spot and would stretch the game more.

Kelly is not fatigued, he's just a Very Naughty Boy.
