Who would you choose to take a penalty if your life depended on it,Murray or Benteke, I know which one I would choose.Everybody misses penalties unless your name is Matt Le Tissier.

He missed his last penalty for Brighton (having 'engineered' the foul that led to it) and missed a couple for us too I recall. Rose tinted glasses and all that...

In all honesty I wouldn't want either of them. Murray missed a few for us, and some of the ones he did score were a little lucky.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Didn't Murray want to leave because Bournemouth offered him more playing time and more money and contract length?

So it's like saying imagine we kept Moses, Watson, McCarthy, Bolasie, Mariappa, Routledge, Fonte, Gayle, etc, imagine the squad depth and pushing each other for places we'd be up the league easy..But the wage bill would be unsustainable

I mainly manage to ignore it but while it never cease to surprise me it occasionally bugs me I'm afraid

Everyone needs to stop getting bugged and offended ffs. This is a football fan site where grevinaces are aired and discusses. Toughen up a little bit.

Needs to watch Glenn Murray's performance today against Bournemouth to see how to play a CF role.Great movement good anticipation as to where the ball will arrive in the box.Finished his chance well as he normally does, breaks my heart to see him playing like that for Brighton in the Premiership instead of us.Great penalty taker as well.

Have you watched numerous bha matches? Their best player is a little ineffective in the prem whiner, leader an old thug in Bruno. They are a trash side. If it werent for Ryan being great today they would have been thrashed by Bournemouth at home today. Id much rather have Benteke than Murray nowadays really. Yes Murray has more goals this season, but a younger stronger player with more potential potential is more valuable. Im severely hating big ben these days, but really he's just lacking on field confidence (maybe fear of injury related?) . Im sure before its over Roy can instill the same confidence boosters in him as hes done in Wayne, Ward and others

Hold up play and his winning of balls in the air was great and his pressing was much better but he just don't look dangerous right now. Never in the right place in the box and when he does get a head on it he f***s it up. Needs competition badly.

You may be mistaken in believing your opinion, or the way you pass it on, offends me; not at all. What I fail to understand is that some people seem to find it impossible to accept that others have a different or opposite viewpoint. And keep repeating and repeating themselves to an extent its not discussion anymore but plain pettiness.

Bentek is not doing his job right now whilst most others around him are.
If he were playing like this for another Club would we buy him now - unlikely in my opinion.
We will never recoup money on him and so Parish won't sell.
We need someone else in the same position to make him hungry again

Good points. We need to responsible for getting his form back. It’s in our best interest what ever the end result of it may be.
