RIVERS OF BLOOD.......... Enoch Powell..... April 1968. He was laughed at, shouted down even... and here we are nearly 50 years later talking about the very things he predicted happening in Paris. Jimenez was correct at the beginning of this thread... we are at war........ with Islam Kermit. Not just a few religious zealots or fundamentalists but with Islam itself... the whole ideology! Islam calls itself the religion of peace, but the holy Koran directs it's followers to kill all infidels (unbelievers)... but we hear so often that most followers don't take this as a literal instruction. Why have it in there then? How many other religions have such a clear message in it's scriptures to direct people to kill? The Holy Bible says "Thou Shalt Not Kill"... I'm not clued up on all religions though, but I doubt any others encourage bloodshed? Why do we tolerate the way Islam treats women as 2nd class citizens, forcing them to dress in Burkhas. denying them education and just being servants to the males? Female Genital Mutilation FFS! Why are they living here in a culture that is alien to their preachings... no alcohol, gay and lesbians, non halal meat eaters? These people that carried out tonight's atrocities were highly trained and part of a network that has been helped by the Paris/French Muslim community. They could not have carried out this level of terrorism without the so called moderates being aware of what was going down. Of course now we will hear from the Muslim Council of Great Britain (and/or their French counterparts)decrying the act and how it offends Muslims and their faith. We are at war and we need to adopt the same mindset of Churchill during WWII and start interning again those Muslims preaching hate rather than releasing them because Liberal namby pambys think it's a crime to do so. We also need to sort out ISIS (or whatever they call themselves) killing and destroying people and historical religious property in Syria and everywhere else they operate around the globe. Shut down their websites glorifying their deeds and attempts to radicalise and recruit young minds. Do we want blood on our streets? Luckily we were not as stupid as the rest of Europe and have tightened our border controls and beefed up our security and intelligence capabilities.... even though the Liberal minded regard this an "affront to their civil liberties" ! I think this will see a rise in UKIP's popularity again as well as many turning to BNP/EDL type political parties as they sense the likes of Corbyn and Labour will not even be dismayed by this outrage and blame ourselves, whilst Cameron speaks rhetoric about reprisals but not have the balls to actually do anything. I think Islam is like a wasp infestation - we are currently dealing with the problem by killing a few stray wasps with a rolled up newspaper. However we need to bring in the experts to destroy the nest! Or.... we can do nothing and slowly allow our population to be engulfed by Muslims and surrender to Sharia Law. It's our choice. That's what happened in WWII nick.... all German's were interned for the duration of the war (which we won possibly due to removing the threat of the enemy within). BTW.... I don't expect you, Kermit, Legal etc to be on board with my message. Let me get this right. You are saying all Muslims in the UK should be put inside?
Rather than addressing the problem of Muslims and their culture differences/threat to our society, you embark on a "lets out a racist" crusade. Pathetic.
You are quite literally suggesting we do it anyway to combat the problem. Human Rights no longer become rights when a politician or Army General decides who gets what. That goes for all of us, not just Ahmed and his pals who always looked a bit shifty going about their business. What about white, British Muslim's? How would you enforce such a thing?
I have nothing to hide and welcome surveillance of all or any of my communications. I am happy to give my finger prints, DNA profile for identification purposes and carry an ID card with bio metric information on it to help combat fraudsters/terrorists/rapists or other criminals/threats to our society. Human rights are an over egged commodity - it holds us back from fighting on the terrorist's terms eg our ridiculous terms of engagement for our soldiers in Afghanistan which resulted in many unnecessary deaths during the last campaign.

News reports said there were 8 involved for starters and you are reducing that to 6... why? What I am saying is that these 8 people had help from the muslim community.... you can bet your leather sandals on it. We need to be more vigil and approve heightened powers for MI6 and home security forces rather than regarding it as an affront to our civil liberties. Until we know what an actual terrorist looks like, we should suspect and challenge everyone. I am not playing down the threat. It plainly exists. However your solution, to my mind, is bizarre.

Here we have a conundrum. We cannot persecute or blame Muslims who had nothing to do with terrorism. Equally, it is our woefully slack attitude to illegal immigrants and our indifference to the danger of allowing alien religions and culture into Europe in large numbers which allows some to carry out these actions. We all want to live in a peaceful harmonious world where people can mix freely, but this will remain a delusion all the time people are radicalised and brainwashed by religion and those who use it for political purposes.

When they've all said how awful it was and how they condemn the actions of a minority of lunatics who have absolutely nothing to do with them, report back Monday evening and that will likely shut a few people on here up rather than your assurances over the families. I'm by no means silence = complicity but I'd be screaming out to defend my faith in the same way anti-war Westeners take to the streets and in fact are permanently present outside Parliament.

Take the fight to them by, literally, all means but let's leave the other 96% alone to live their lives. They have done nothing wrong. They are not part of that group.

Unfortunately people don't always tell the truth. Take Jihadi John as an example... on last night's news there was a recording of him denying being a terrorist or anything remotely associated with jihadist tendencies some few years ago. I would advocate increased surveillance on all muslim groups until proven that they are indeed totally innocent of compliance with this terror campaign.
