Ice cream is pretty inexpensive in most places - £2 for four Magnums in a supermarket - so easy to avoid the traders marking it up to something stupid like £2.50 each or summat. What about pizza and ice cream?

Pizza, whilst ridiculously expensive for what is a piece of bread and some tomato sauce, is just about forgivable even if it is £9.99 as I am guessing the majority don't know how to make a good one at home. BB is a bit of an enigma to me - I vehemently disagree with pretty much ALL of his politics, but really appreciate his music as being lyrically very good. I don't need to know someone's politics to appreciate their music, and I certainly don't need to agree with their politics.

I actually prefer his love songs to his political songs (which are probably more social than political in the most part). Greetings to the New Brunette, Mother of the Bride or New England for example.

I'd challenge anyone to listen to 'St. Swithins' day and not be moved, and find something of their own experiences of love in it.
