I'm spittin'
The lyrical fact
To the Jack Straw
Tellin' him that it's wise
That he legalise the draw

You can't erase a dream you can only wake me up

In the paper today tales of warring and waste but you turn right over to the tv page

I see you lying back in your satin dress in a room that you do what you don't confess

She's dressed to kill and guess who's dying

Then from a corner a tap on the door put the room in a flood

The list goes on

"Thanks For The Memory"

Thanks for the memory
Of candlelight and wine, castles on the Rhine
The Parthenon and moments on the Hudson River Line
How lovely it was!

In the black sky thunder sweeping underground and over water, sounds of crying weeping will not save your faith for bricks and dreams for mortar

Improved by the touch of Ofra Haza (and I love the original). Curiously, both Ofra Haza and Andrew Eldritch have provided backing vocals on Sarah Brightman recordings.

One of the most eloquently, literate lyrical songs ever recorded.

Yeah, might have been the biggest hit they had but it doesn't embarrass me for loving this song. Although I genuinely preferred the original to the Ofra Haza release. Not least because it was about 3 hours long.

You're the color of the sky
Reflected in each store-front window pane
You're the whispering and the sighing
Of my tires in the rain.

Komm in mein Boot

from Seemann by Rammstein

it's much more innocent in German than it sounds in English..
