I don't have time to read the whole thread, but why was a Jewish state created in an Arab land in the first place? It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007)

I don't have time to read the whole thread, but why was a Jewish state created in an Arab land in the first place?

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

They identified the "holy land" as their preferred destination and committed terrorist acts to persuade the British to let them have the Palestinian's land. The British shamefully capitulated and the state of Israel was born.

According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu it was the British entire fault for not evacuating the hotel. I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.

Seth, you pretty much surmise the history from my point of view. Worth noting The King David Hotel bombing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_David_Hotel_bombing) caused more casualties than any subsequent bombing carried out in the Arab-Israeli conflict. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu it was the British entire fault for not evacuating the hotel.

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.
