Fear of losing muslim votes now clarifying positions of these three. The UK is being influenced by the potential votes of a religion, this is very disturbing. Let's see how Starmer tries to sit on this fence.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

The actual question that needs considering (and I appreciate it is a rabbit hole people might want to avoid) is why Starmer is risking losing the Muslim vote? Ultimately politics is about winning. And that means votes. So why would Starmer risk those? Annoying the Muslims make very little conventional sense so you have to ask why?

He clearly went on a journey to try and make the Labour party less rabidly anto semitic than it was under Corbyn and had some success. In the current atmosphere you cannot support anti semitism to an Islamic audience so I guess he is trying to follow his conscience. Anti semitism is really an intrinsic part of being Muslim in most parts of the world Edited by HKOwen (28 Oct 2023 11.14am)

The evidence is clear if you look to the RSF in Sudan. Non Muslims are targeted because they aren’t Muslim. Israel just happens to be the scapegoat.

Starmer is one of the emptiest vessels I've ever seen. He makes Sunak look like a bit of a character. In fact, he makes cement look interesting. What a poor lot we've ended up with. Spokespersons for some agenda other than the good running of the country. Short-termism and short sightedness do not cover the ultimate uselessness of the people in politics currently. At least Corbyn had principles - probably why he had to go.
