Can anyone recommend a decent 43" 4k tele for around £350? Been looking at the January sales and keep finding bad reviews about most so was wondering if anyone knew there stuff and could recommend one?

Try Richer Sounds, sale on now and much the same price as online

I go with whichever has the most 4 and 5 stars. Some people are never happy with anything they buy tbh so always put bad reviews.

Never been let down by anything Samsung. They're the first I go to.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

Indeed, this whole review thing can be difficult to gauge - stories of companies putting fake reviews to big up their product, some people just want to be offended so that their voice actually seems relevant (at least to them) & others have got into the habit of leaving bad reviews on pretty much anything in the hope that they will get something out of it for free as some form of compensation - Originally posted by cryrst

The Samsung UE43AU7100 is worth a look (See reviews at link below), but at £350 you’ll be far short of the picture quality you’d get from a descent OLED or QLED; however, unless you’re replacing an old Plasma screen TV you’d probably not notice. Edited by Bearcage (03 Jan 2023 8.08am)

I had a top of the range plasma and thought that nothing could top it for picture quality until I saw an LG OLED which I subsequently bought and have been more than happy with but unfortunately it's out of the OP's price range. My advice would be not to buy a TV without seeing it in action first, preferably watching a footie match so that you can see how well it handles motion. Many demo setups show slow moving video from a hard disc which isn't normally representative of what you will use it for.

Have look at Currys PC World. They're selling a decent 4k Samsung for £329 which normally sells for £399. Can't really go wrong with a Samsung.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
