I know this isn’t exclusive to palace, but how is it that an infants kit is the same price as an adults kit? The amount of material used for a start should mean it’s cheaper. Just dropped £62.99 on my 2 year olds 3rd kit for his birthday.

Your 2 year old or you ? 63 quid for a baby's tee shirt, shorts and socks is ridiculous, but they'll continue to charge it all the time someone pays it.

Purchase from other sellers you could get all three kits for less. These clubs need to be shown this is unacceptable the greed is off the charts.

I don't agree with the price but surely you can't spend a whole life trying to find the cheapest and best VFM. Edited by cryrst (28 Aug 2021 5.41am)

It’s a shame we don’t sell the kits on the official puma uk website everything is 35% off this weekend including the new Man City Valencia Marseille and Dortmund kits and training wear but no palace I don’t think we’re a big enough client to be on there
walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces! |

To be honest at that age I'd question whether there's any point in dropping £60+ on kit. It's extortionate and 'it only encourages them'. Up to you what you spend your money on of course though, and the amount of material doesn't really come into it as they're going to charge what people are willing to pay. It probably costs them a few quid to make.

She is a dirty piece of filth, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Sure but the OP was complaining about the price of the child's kit which is much smaller and hence uses less material. My point was that the material is only a very tiny cost of the overall product. A bit like moaning about paying £10 for a plate of pasta in a restaurant where the actual pasta costs less than 10p. Doubling the portion size makes it 20p but still a tiny part of £10. The costs are in the staff, premises and margins.

kids clothing is not suppose to have tax/vat applied so it should not be the same price as adults.

Pretty much. They're just looking to get away with charging the maximum people will be willing to pay.
