Lampard has impressed SP & a 3yr deal has been offered I would expect an announcement in a few weeks could be as soon as we are mathematically safe or they may wait till end of the season.

I'll be very disappointed if it is Lampard.

He has had two jobs and failed at both of them.
The only positive is that his profile in the game could possibly attract certain players, but it's a no from me.

I'd bring in Raffa. Big Sam might be humbled enough to come back, but I doubt it.

I only want successful managers. Players winning stuff or being smarter than average does not make them good managers.

I have to agree with Hrolf, Lampard would not be my choice either.

I thought he was getting significantly less than the sum of parts out of the squad at Chelsea and Tuchel appears to be underlining that.

Also, comparisons between Chelsea's use of young players and ours are don't stand up IMO.

When we beat Middlesbrough 4-1 back in the Championship days somebody pointed the anonymous Josh McEachran out to me at the game who was on loan to them from Chelsea and apparently earning £33k a week at the time.
