Not sure if this is more for the Nostalgia board, but thought some might wish to see this I found today: I also found this programme from the game, the reverse of which lists the teams: Way before my time, and the only name I know is Johnny Byrne, but interesting anyway. Seemingly filmed from the main stand before the Arthur Waite stand was built.

Thanks so much for posting that. I was at the game. Both teams were in Division 3, but Portsmouth had just come down from Division 2 and returned at the end of the season as champions. We had just come up from Division 4. We had lost the league game at Selhurst just six weeks earlier so the cup result was a pleasant surprise.

Here's some footage from a Division 4 game in April that same year, with commentary. Ray Colfar, who died recently, features in what was his penultimate game for us.

We could certainly do with Johnny Byrne now. This was before the Big Match, Match of the Day etc. so what programme would this have been broadcast on?
