For me it’s a no!!
Although I know when the wolves game comes around, whatever team we put out, I’ll want us to win. But it’s tough, because I know if we get to Wembley, some hope I know with our recent cup form, I’ll be gutted if I can’t go because of covid, or worse, again some hope, if we did actually go on to win the thing, after 45 years of having that dream, I won’t be there to see it.
It’s okay for these fans groups that have popped up around the world watching the games in a pub in Chicago or Colorado etc, they’re used to not going to games, but for the proper supporters, it’ll be a right choker if we can’t be there. So i think I’d rather it not be an issue and do our usual and throw the towel in early.

its a yes from me.
Cant see that covid has anything to do with it and you saying you dont want palace to win in an empty stadium. You Have to be in it to win it. Its highly unlikely we will get past the first game.

You are probably right but I'd love to see us have a good run in the Cup this year. We only have to win 6 more games to stay up and once achieved there's burger all else to get excited about.

Seeing as we are playing Wolves in the 3rd round, I would not worry about a cup run.

That’s why I was asking the question, if by some miracle we were to get there again soon, personally I’d rather it be a season when we can go, as someone who experienced 1990 when it still really meant something and 2016 as well, I want to be there if we do it. But I know some will feel different

not that bothered about all these poxy cups.

But we could give a workout to the B team plus Benteke.

let us participate but only so long as there is no injury (or suspensions) crisis with our first team.

Absolutely. Hopefully by the time we get to the final we will be allowed to attend!

Damn right I do.

All these years of never wining a proper trophy, s@d that.

Understand though what Monkey means, would be gutting to make a final only not to be able to attend.

Think we have depth in the squad this year to be able to put out good teams in all games. Even our reserve keeper has played for England and we have a forward who plays for Belgium on our books who struggles to make our first team.

Second team at the moment could look something like this

Butland

Ward. Sakho Dann PVA

Meyer McCarthy Riedewald

Townsend Batshuayi Ayew

Would love a cup run, can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t barring it affecting our ability to stay up!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
