Call me old fashioned, but 2 strikers on the bench and a misfiring sort of striker and a winger/defender up front! Is that normal for a home game against someone we should be at least aiming to beat!

No disrespect to Kouyste but I like two specialist centre backs and he will improve midfield. I am surprised Jairo has been dropped. We need eze and Andros to have big games and our strikers to score. I hope it won't be another game that proves how limited we are without wilf. Come n you Eagles! Let's start the weekend with a great win.

Roy's 'steady as you go' style on full display. After our woeful Burnley performance we should be looking to make a statement.

Riedewald was awful against Burnley so can’t complain about being dropped. His lack of pace is his main weakness. Kouyate is our only centre midfield player with decent pace to be able to get around the pitch so reckon this played into the decision. I’m no fan of Jeff Schlupp but not surprised to see him start. Ayew and Bats was a bad combination on Monday and I myself would choose Ayew over Bats.
