Leeds pulled off a remarkable result at Villa and are probably the surprise package of the season.
Bamford will be motivated against us,that is for certain and I think we may struggle to get a 1-1 draw ,as they have the benefit of excellent form coming into this fixture and are well drilled by an excellent manager.

If it's the Palace I expect to turn up, irrespective of tactics or quality of players etc. They will outwork us by about 10 times, and should therefore probably outscore us by about 10 times. Probably won't happen, but this is one I genuinely fear has the potential to be embarrassing.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

As the season progresses, they look better than us. The difference is their manager. We will score but see us losing this.

They will play with a high-tempo and their workrate will be second to none. They are a well-drilled outfit which is hardly surprising given they are managed by the great Marcelo Bielsa whose tactics I have studied for many years.

I cannot see beyond a Leeds victory.

Have to hope for our strongest back four being available and that includes Ward, Tomkins, Cahill and Mitchell. Then he selects a stronger defensive midfield than the Wolves match. If that happens we may just hold them and get a break going forward. It’s going to be a tough one and a 0.2 defeat is my prediction? However if we are as open as we were against Wolves then it could be more :-(

Optimistically, hoping at best for a 1-1 draw, although Bamford is in fine form and would love to score one ortwo against us, to show us what we missed.

Impressive start by Leeds, and by Bamford ... who'd have thought that one up?
We do have one advantage in that we "played" last Friday and Leeds have to play tonight. Add to that they are hard working may mean some players may be tired and have to be rested. How good is their squad?

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Bielsa has brought the best out of Bamford.
Maybe the style of football Leeds deploy has played its part in his improvement.

Their squad is not large but Bielsa likes to use the same players. He used hardly any last season, basically the same fourteen or fifteen.
Ours isn't great anyway.

From previous Leeds games they are going to swarm all over us so to get anything from the game we need our defensive format to play very tight to ensure they don’t score. If we keep the game tight into the second half then our counter attacking play will need to deliver.
Will it happen ? nobody knows but keeping a tight defence is our only chance. Keeping positive a shock result 1-0 to us . COYP

I hope we don't revert to just kicking it long every time to avoid the press like we did against Brighton. However, if we sit deep and manage to contain them they may grow impatient and give us space to counter, so it is a tricky one. Wolves did a job on them in that respect. They seem to thrive in open games, but that is something we are unlikely to see from our team again after the first-half at Wolves, so I'm not so sure about how this one will play out.

I have a feeling we will sneak it and the commentators will complain about our anti-football as we win 1-0 with our only shot on target, while Leeds will have 57 shots.

I predict we'll bore the Leeds players in to apathy and we'll bundle home a 1-0 win
