Kelly, Thommo & Tekkers in starting 11. HT 1-0 Tekkers 47min. Yes, you read that correct Tekkers has scored at Selhurst.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Nice to see Kelly and Tomkins getting a run out. Also nice to see a team in a Palace kit having a bit of possession - Roy would be coming over in a cold sweat ("... near perfect against Fulham" with 35% possession).

Even Christian looks good - took his goal well jut before half-time. I suspect this is more like the right level for him.

Not much else to report - Palace's streaming service has not improved this season. Enjoyed better quality from the USA over a VPN on Saturday, with the premium benefit of no scousers on co-commentary. Today's looks like something from the dial-up Internet days of the late 90s - perhaps we are hosting in Venezuela or something to save a bit of cash - sort it out fellas, I am an academy foundation member now so deserve better methinks!

That quick break after a fine save by Webber, Woods finds Benteke, a cut in and quality strike.

Just like the PL, a polished outfit gets caught out on the break.

2 - 1 FT

Worthy note to Webber & Sam Woods, who in the 2nd half were brill, starting to look good for the Acadamey.

My intro to Monday football and very enjoyable it was too.

Just held on against a very good Wolves side, they looked suitably shattered at the death.

£3 to watch on the club site what is there not to like.

A good work out for the 3 senior players, and great to see Tomkins getting game time. Banks' goal was good (loved his mazy run before the 1-2 with Tekkers) . I agree Woods played well in his DM role.
Very disappointed with Pierrick, though. He was either injured, not fully match fit, lazy or just had an off day. He also needlessly gave away a free kick from which Wolves scored.
The 2 young full backs were given a stern test but generally held up well.
Good that the 3 seniors came off just after Wolves pulled it back to 2-1, leaving the lads to see the game out.

So was Banks MOM like the general feeling last time out? Shame about Pierrick. He looked OK when had chance in first team but that was some time ago and guess he hasn't pushed on
