I've been feeling so irritated about our performance yesterday that I wanted to create a positive thread to try and bring back some good feeling. As such, thought it was time to say that I feel as though Andros has played really well this season so far.

In honesty after his performances last year, I wouldn't have cried too many tears had he left in the summer. However, I think he's really picked up and his crossing, in particular, is greatly improved. Pretty sure he has one full assist from a superb cross in an earlier game and it was also his ball that won us the penalty yesterday.

With Wilf's early resurgence (is two good games a resurgence?) apparently waning, Andros has stood out for me as a rare bright spark in our attack so far. Hope he keeps it up. His hair, though, remains absolutely shocking.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Yep - including your comment about his hair!

I just think it's a real waste of a hair transplant. That being said, if he keeps banging in crosses as well as he has been, he's entitled to a dodgy barnet.

I think he had burnout last season and the rest he had has helped.

He’s no. 100 on the all-time appearance list but will go up quite a few places this season.

Major turnaround in his performances. He’s like a new player.

I seem to recall he had an injury for much of last season which took a very long time to clear up. It strikes me as the same situation as with Wilf playing up front and Riedewald in midfield - some serious thought/discussions/preparation went on pre season. Roy and Ray are to be applauded for sure as are the players involved including Townsend.
