I hope there is am minute's silence today to commemorate the local police officer tragically murdered in Croydon.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

That would be appropriate.

Most definitely. I both think and hope there will be.

Terrible what happened but I do think football has become too involved in what is going on out there especially with no crowd.

But if they take the knee and don’t have a minutes silence, that in my mind will be outrageous

It'll be strange won't it? They might have a minutes silence for that poor police officer but then take a knee in support of a bunch of terrorists who want the police destroyed

Football should just focus on footballl. Drop all these political emotional things. It needs to get us all back in or change its wage structure dramatically especially if the tv contracts wayne. And as I type I’m listening to Marcus Rashford charity. Football guys. Lower salaries. Bring players back to earth.

It would be good to have a minutes silence for the officer and dump the kneeling completely.

In the current circumstances of no crowd, a minutes silence is a bit pointless. I expect the Palace team to wear black armbands as a mark of respect.

I hope so too, even if the stadium is virtually empty. It would still be the right thing to do for those who will be present.
