Well, you've had two seasons of VAR now.

Are you all happy with it?
I bet you're not.

Are you stuck with it?
You bet you are.

Only solution? Turn off your televisions and don't go to the grounds when we're allowed back.

No, didn't think you would like that. Oh well. Get used to VAR and stop moaning.

Or get relegated into a division which magically exists without it.

All VAR has done is confirmed referees are either incompetant or corrupt either way it's terrible the decisions ain't good. FA should make all the referees reapply for jobs or bring in foreign refs who speak english they are better and more likely to be impartial.

Just remove all decision making from referees and let VAR decide everything. He can show cards when told to , whoosh his disappearing spray around and run around looking important.

It highlights that officials are still woefully very inconsistent and some of the rules are not good for the game - nit picking in terms of offsides and handballs .

Don’t think the referee’s are any better or worse with VAR. Mostly they get the decisions correct as before. Problem seems more with VAR and instructions to referees to go to the monitor and check. I suppose it’s also a grey area for us fans as well as I still believe having seen it so many times that the ball came of Sakho’s shoulder for the disallowed goal v Villa and that Ayew’s offside goal decision last night was incorrect. The penalty not given not going to VAR or the ref not being requested to see it on a monitor makes a mockery of using technology available - grrr!

Should set a time limit of 20-30 seconds, anything over confirms its not clear and obvious

VAR is the modern day Clattenberg, always wants to be the star of the show!!

VAR in theory is fine. It's the incompetence of the officials that needs highlighting, the standard of refereeing is absolutely woeful. When a ball hits a player on the upper shoulder and goes into the net, and that goal is disallowed despite VAR allowing the opportunity to review the situation over and over, well then that official is either corrupt or incompetent and not fit for duty.

Old Dave down the pub's opinion is that they're purposefully making a s*** show of VAR so they have a reason to get rid of it again.

If not actual corruption then the VAR officials should undergo unconscious bias training. Or at least agree to explain their decisions after the game.
