Roy do the honorable thing at the end of the season, retired
Parish do the honorable thing, let Roy retire and shake up this team.

Otherwise with negative tactics, we are nothing...
same predicable team,
same predicable substitutes
same plan A
You have lost it Roy.

You dont know how to get the best out of players..they are bored with your tactics and IM bored with your tactics.
You even got Milo got mad

Now because Sky cut coverage... I fidn
After the final whistle, Christian Benteke, who was playing against his former club, was shown a red card as tempers boiled over.

Simple tactics, you don't teach things how to take a throw on. 8 maybe more I counted today went astray and they were on the attack.
Football has moved on.

You are nice man...Roy, call it a day
Because we are only going to head one way next season.
But now its bl...dy embarrassing
THIS FOOTBALL TEAM OF OURS IS DREADFUL

Roy isn't blameless, but the real problem is how talentless and thin our roster is. I'd like to see Riedewald start every match, but aside from that, our bench is utter crap. Maybe give Meyer a few starts, but TBH, he has shown nothing when given chances.

We have no decent subs, at all. Half our current starters would be bench players on other teams.

I agree, regardless of who gets promoted, we have to be one of the 3 favorites to be relegated next season.

We need to get 3-4 younger, better starters this offseason, and that is unlikely to happen.

They say that you have to be moving forward, or else you are falling behind. Not only are we not moving forward, we aren't even staying in place, we went backwards this year, with ancient players. That's a recipe for relegation next year.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Who would you drop for Riedewald?

Vive le Roy!

We would have been relegated every year for past 3 seasons if Roy wasn’t in charge but now the players have turned on him so there will be changes soon.

I would drop Luka who's had a mare of a season.

I agree but who would want to come if squad isn’t improved. The Palace way is Dougie in for last 3 games, get a result and he gets the job full-time, which imo is what he has wanted since coming back

Agree about playing Jairo. I'd also play Meyer BUT you would need a different system or plan B to include him. Our current system is:
too defensive
too predictable
too rigid.
We'll be favourites for relegation next season and football fans won't mourn our passing.

I have not heard any indication that Freedman has ever been interested in the job.

Off the pace, just went around giving away cheap free kicks and it was him who played the A.Villa players onside before they scored their second goal.

Yes time for Roy and Wilf to move on and let’s roll the dice and see what happens can’t keep watching this rubbish. Players and management look bored, no fight, can’t pass, can’t defend set pieces, can’t take set pieces. Clubs been missing a striker for 2 years and a right back for a year and playing 3 crabs in midfield with their heads down the whole game.

I know Roy’s had no money, we’re safe in mid table but been very fine lines all year even the games we’ve won could have gone either way. I’ve stuck by him despite not enjoying the matches because it’s a results business. However now the results are not going for us what is there to get behind? Where’s the enjoyment in playing poorly and losing too by big margins were not even in games anymore! The ends aren’t justifying the means and I’m done tbf. Cheers Roy worked wonders up to this point but time for a change now.

Today was a low point villa are awful and played 2 days after us with an injury to their starting 11 in the warm up no excuses is there. We’re the second lowest scorers in the league and worst team from scoring at corners. With Benteke, Cahill and Dann something has to be wrong there thats training ground stuff that Roy hasn’t sorted all season.

The same rubbish subs too. It’s not all Roy’s fault Wilf has to look in the mirror this season, I’m not sure how Benteke sleeps at night on 100k a week. Sent off today in 96 minute has shown no real fight all game just plastic tuff man probably wants to take the wife on hols early. Doesn’t jump his height or punch his weight. PVA can’t play 2 good games a row or use his right peg and too busy on Twitter fighting Katie Hopkins and Luka since his new deal looks like a pub team vet. Awful performances put in by all 3 most of the season.

Parish and Dougie have to look at then recruitment of Meyer (little 5 aside player on silly money at the wrong club completely) the weird loan deal of Sorloth that looks like losing us 10 million, Riedwield looks like a kid in the playground just chases the ball around with no discipline and no actual position that he’s good in. What is he? He’s not a centre half, left back or midfielder FFs.

Cahill, Guita and Ayew all low risk signings that have done well but no sell on value so that model isn’t sustainable. Our next long term signings have to be on the money And do you really trust Dougie and the board with that at the moment? Also Roy himself has said the academy is currently producing nothing. I mean if them boys can’t threaten this squad then they must be pony.

Anyway rant over. Let’s roll the dice and see what happens. More than happy to take relegation on the chin if we cash in on Wilf and buy some young Chelsea reserves or championship prospects with a younger gaffer than doesn’t set up not to lose home and away with a rigid plan A. Wilf is the best player we’ve had since Ian Wright and we may be even more useless without him, but were useless now with him. Let him play for a big boy and see if not having 3 players on him the whole game helps him hit the level he thinks he’s capable of. Let’s get some prospects in and enjoy going to the games again FFs.

Up the palace..../
