Fantastic, vital away win yesterday has probably consolidated our place in the Premiership.
Watford???
Brilliant unexpected result against Liverpool but still think we could win this one, again 1-0.

This will be an incredibly tough game. 2-0 loss I think.

Think the card count could be interesting, a red card or 3. Would be amazed if all 22 players are still in the pitch at the end of 90mins(+8.).

Praying for a win, happy with a draw, fearing a loss.

Praying for a win, happy with a draw, fearing a loss pretty much sums me up before every game.

Two wins in a row virtually mean we are safe.
Think we could get at least a point against Watford.
Unlike Brighton, who without a win in 2020,have some difficult fixtures and are in real trouble now under scout master Potter, who was until recently lauded for his new expansive style, but is now leading them to the Championship.

We have a good chance, providing:

1. Miliovejic doesn't start (odds on for a 10th yellow)

2. Wilf takes some feng shui lessons, clears his 'why always me' attitude and shows what he can really do.

3. We start the only player we have who can accurately pass the ball - Meyer.

4. Benteke gets in some intensive heading practice.

5. We don't succumb to Watford's dark arts.

Andy Gray turns up as match guest, Chins Capoue, and says he's taking one for the team.

I wouldn’t read too much into Watford’s result against Liverpool yesterday in relation to next week.

This has been coming for a while so far as Liverpool are concerned, lets be honest West Ham should have beaten them, then losing to Atletico - they’ve also scraped a few more results recently.

Think the whole unbeaten thing was just really beginning to “hang round their necks”. Culminating in yesterdays performance which was awful from Liverpool, as I said it was coming.

Watford having suddenly become “world beaters” - the Table doesn’t lie..!!

Over recent yers this for whatever reason has become a bit of a feisty fixture, with a bit of meaning.

We owe them one, they are now managed by “Chief Thug” with “Captain Thug” back and playing with Chief “wind up mascot” Harry the Hornet on the sideline - there are histories with all 3..!!

Think we will be bang up for this, 3 more points and pretty much “flip flops” on with 9 games to go.

I’m going for 2-1 Palace, feisty affair with a Watford sending off and a spattering of yellow cards, with “Chief Thug” Pearson having a rant at the on MOTD about how they were hard done by..!!

Harry the Hornet going home crying with Captain Thug..!!

A draw 1-1

Do Watford want to play football when they play us, the last six meetings have been ridiculous. I think they have still not got over us beating them in the play-offs and the FA Cup semi final..

A dull and boring repeat of yesterday the difference being that Watford will take their chances.

1-2/1-3.

Depends if they are buoyed by last result and decide to come out and play or they revert to their usual rough house tactics. So could be 3-2/2-2 or 1-0/0-0. I expect we might nudge it 1-0 but won't be pretty.
