Parish the parasite and the Americans will sell the club for a song to ambitious owners with deep pockets. Roy will resign which will enable us to employ a younger manager who will start blooding young players like Dreher, Kirkby, Perrick, Gonzalez (dubbed the next Coutinho in that Daily Mail article)- If we stayed up Roy will continue playing the 30+ aged players who will play to his disciplined ways. Which will mean we get bored s***less for the next 2 to 3 years!! Relegation will force changes which in the long run might be better for the club

It will be several years of pain before there’s much satisfaction again if we get relegated in the state we’re currently in.

Meanwhile, back on planet Earth, we drop another division or two and start looking in charity shops for a chamber pot that we can afford.

Absolute madness. We are in a terrible financial situation where we're burdened with ageing, ineffective players on massive salaries who can't be shifted. If we go down, we will be stuck with one of the biggest wage bills in the Championship and almost no revenue to offset that from player sales. You're damn right we'd have to play the youngsters, because there will be no money to bring anyone else in.

Relegation = financial ruin because of the way this club has been run.

How many seasons in the Championship did we play great football? Peter Taylor, George Burley, etc. served up some real dross and we only scraped up in the end. We do need to bring some young blood and although Roy has done well to stabilise the club I do agree that we might be better to make a change in the summer, albeit only if transfer funds are made available. Relegation would likely see us disappear into the wilderness for years and probably wouldn't change anything for the better.

There are no certainties about what happens when you are relegated. Some bounce back quickly whilst others wander in the wilderness, sometimes after further relegations.
Just think Portsmouth, Charlton, Coventry, Blackburn, Sunderland and many more.

We should do all we can to retain our place in the Premier League. After all, if you go down and play in the Championship your ambition is to get promoted to the Premier League so lets avoid the unknowns of dropping down to that league.

Someone who wants their team to get relegated probably needs to get professional help.
