Assuming Palace and Roy go their separate ways in the summer who do people want as Palace’s new manager versus who do you think we will end up with?

I’ll go first who do I want Pochettino (good manager who has proved he can work on a budget under levy as will be case here assuming owners remain in situ) versus who will we get Chris Houghton

We have not got any money. It will be Dougie / Sean Derry, with Paddy Mac following on behind.

Think we will end up with Freedman sadly as he is cheap and will do what Parish and the yanks say.

Personally I would like a English manager who has done well in the Championship somebody like Chris Wilder or Lee Johnson who know how to sign talented players and play good football.

The trouble is I don't think anyone from outside the club would probably want the job if the club is in the same state as it is now in terms of finance and infrastructure. Maybe a foreign manager who fancies a go in the Premier League but would SP go down that route again? Don't think he would.

Allardyce is free or Alan Pardew after heroically rescuing Den Haag from relegation?

Can honestly say I am not sure atm who I would actually want definitively.

What I would like more than anything is some signings but that is almost definitely not going to happen in the next few years unless we get a major investment from somewhere.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Personally think we'll have 1 more season out of Roy.

Then Dysche.

Think of us purely as a business

I have said the last few occasion that we should go for Dyche he would be a good fit whilst we are in this phase of development. We are not ready to "kick on" it' still all about survival until we have owners with deep pockets.

Dyche won't come here. He has complete control over all footballing matters where he is

Exactly, not to mention a lot of brownie points for what he's already achieved at Burnley. In any case, why on earth would he want to come here?
If Roy does go in the summer (and given what he has purportedly said to the owners re the dire situation we're in re forward planning) then I suspect it will be DF or possibly Chris Hughton. Who would I like? Someone who will get us playing more positive football. Here we are in February and I'm still waiting to see a first half Palace goal from open play at home (I even missed the one goal scored - a pen v Norwich 'cos I was away).

Eddie Howe. The stars could align for us. Can't see him doing another season at Bournemouth.

I'd accept Howe but I don't think he'll get the sack at Bournemouth. He may decide to walk, though, if he thinks he's achieved all he can with them and that they need a fresh face.

I'd like the Brentford manager or Farke from Norwich - he can attack and with our better defence would be a good fit. However, few will come to us with no money to spend and the oldest squad in the PL.

good call, don't think David Wagner wud come here, poster who said our agenda is just to tick over until new money comes in is spot on, if the club doesn't grow though it will stagnate and decline, until the stadium is upgraded we'll still be viewed by serious players as being essentially a bit tin pot
