Lack of investment in the team, no ambition beyond simply trying to stay up, loanees and free transfers cobbled together, ageing and injury prone, no upgrade to the stadium. Will still travel away to support the team, but seriously thinking about giving up my season tickets next year - beginning to feel that the directors are taking the mick.

This disgusts me the rubbish that fair weather supporters come up with!

Don’t blame you for taking that view, I have refused to buy corporate entertainment tickets this season for exactly the same reason. Will always support Palace but I too feel they are extracting the urine. How Roy has made us competitive is beyond comprehension when you consider what he has to work with.

You forgot to mention that Parish no longer has an eye candy girlfriend.

Unforgivable.

Why is anyone a fair weather supporter. A fellow supporter who goes home and away and wants to show he is disappointed in the direction our club is going so you consider that fair weather. I probably invest about 10 times more than your average season ticket holder every year into corporate but I refused to this year. I don’t consider that being fair weather, I believe it is showing with your wallet that we are not happy. It doesn’t change anyone’s support for the team which remains constant.

So basically what you are saying is follow them when things are going well but don’t when they’re not.

Not for me fella.

Tom, with respect that is not at all what he is saying and if he was I would agree with you.

Strangely enough these are the most successful years Crystal Palace have had in their history.
How many times have we been 9th or higher at this time of the season?

Why would this need an organised boycott? People will choose not to buy season tickets if the football isn't as exciting.

Fair enough Eagle.

Guess I’m of the mindset with Palace that I don’t expect much!

If the OP was serious about fans giving up their season tickets though the irony is that this would surely be counterintuitive.

I agree we have been used to years of not having much and not expecting much and we are currently punching above our weight. The frustration with many fans this year and to an extent last is that we feel our club are missing a fantastic opportunity to take us to the next level by building a squad for the future. We are currently having our heads held above water by the wisest Lifesaver you will come across in Roy, but it could all unravel very quickly and Roy sees that hence his recent curt responses on transfers.

We are all Palace supporters, but not necessarily board of directors supporters. Sometimes there are very few ways of making a stand other than financially.

At least wait till the window closes, then you can jump off.
