May also need Kiely to fill in at CB as I don't think Jairo will be risked either!

I reckon we'll see a team of youth, McCarthy, Meyer, Wickham & Hennessey for the next game. Can't think of any other first teamers who will be risked.

Riedewald and Kelly definitely won't be involved after Hodsgon's comments about them both being the last fit players in the squad who can play full back and Tomkins as our last fit CB surely won't be out there either.

Personally I love the FA Cup and would like to see us progress as far as possible, but the injury situation is crippling us.

I would rest the following, who desperately need it:
-Zaha
-Ayew
-Luka
-McArthur
-Kelly
-Tompkins

I would expect to see Riedewald, Meyer, Kouyate, Wickham and McCarthy in the starting 11. Good opportunity for some of the youngsters to shine.

Derby will no doubt has similar issues and will rest tired first team regulars.

hennessy hinshlewood (P) Granville cannon coleman meyer
McCarthy Hilaire Routledge Wickham Pierrick

that Pierrick looked great - much better than Kai Kai when he was given his chance - all these injuries may help to tweak, sharpen, galvanise and unearth.

I think these will play.

Hennessey
Mitchell
Woods
Kirby
Pierrick
Daly

The other spaces will probably be filled by 1st team players such as Meyer, Camarassa (?), Wickham, Riedlewald, Sakho (he maybe needs more games).

Bench will even more inexperienced.

We will need at least one senior player in the backline or it could be embarrassing. Depending on no further injuries I think we will see:

Hennessey

Woods Tomkins Kouyate Mitchell

McCarthy Luka Meyer

Ayew Wickham Pierrick

Roy won't want to play more than one or two U23 players, but he may be forced to. There is the option of Camarassa, but I personally doubt we'll see him in a Palace shirt again. Pierrick looked lively when he came on, although I'll admit I have no idea where he normally plays!

Job shares, save a few bob, lol. Wickham is a definite as Roy stated and Pierrick should play based on yesterday. In fact most of the recent subs will probably play. Be surprised if we don't see at least 7 changes.

Wonder if Rooney will turn out for them ? Playing tonight in the league which I think he is going to play some role. Not sure if he will be risked in the Cup. As you say I suspect they will be making a host of changes as well. A good run for them and they could still make the play offs.
