Many congratulations to Newcastle from Shearer and Dyer (both ex-Newcastle) for winning yesterday. Not really a surprise, as apparently they weren't actually playing another team.

We dominated the match had 5 really good chances, didn’t take one of them. They had 1 chance and won the match. We didn’t get a mention, shocking coverage. Sky is so much better...

It would be funny if a huge banner were held up behind the goal taking the pi$$ out of MOTD; one that was so large the cameras couldn't avoid it. Palace are not liked by the media, in the same way Stoke, Watford, WBA and other "unattractive" clubs are dealt with. Newcastle do ok because of Shearer, even though they are even worse to watch than us this season. The reality is, unless you support a big club you never get that much focus. Even when Leicester won the league commentators and pundits seem more focused on why the big clubs were struggling. It's what it is, but it would still be funny to stir the pot!

Barely a mention of the better team (ie, Palace) who admittedly chucked a point away by defensive stupidity and another two points by the customary squandering of excellent chances. Obviously wasn't worth even mentioning by Lineker. Don't know what his problem is as he's only too quick to enjoy any success with his original and unfashionable club, Leicester.
