Sort that would come up in a pub quiz, Only one manager has won the FA Cup with a top flight club and also with a second tier club. Who?
Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |

I have a feeling John Lyall won it for W.Ham in the top and a lower division but I could be totally wrong. Many, many years since I was a member of a team in a challenging football quiz league !

Quite right - West Ham were in D1 (top flight) when they beat Fulham in 1975, they were in D2 when they beat Arsenal in 1980 Many people don’t think it could be the same team

Still remember some things from the days I used to trawl through the 'Rothmans Yearbook' for hours on end in preparation for the football quiz league! Some have affectionately called me "Statto" !!!

I know Blackpool won the play-offs under Holloway and Grayson in different divisions but not sure if they won it another time.
EDIT : Just remembered they won the League Two play-off last year against Exeter !!!!! Not sure what Division they were playing in when they won it under Grayson but he never took them to PL like Holloway. Edited by Willo (17 May 2018 7.08pm)

Starting at any main line station you like. What's is the furthest away match by train where each stop is in a different county and only one stop per county?

Huddersfield and Blackpool.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |

Here’s an easy one, which is the only team to have won a play-off final at the old Wembley, millennium stadium and new Wembley
