donald Trump has reversed a ban on plastic water bottles being sold in national parks in America despite protests from environmental groups.

San Franisco doesn't allow bottled water to be sold on city owned properties.

Was wondering how many hol'ers drink bottled water rather than from the tap?

I used to drink bottled water as thought it was healthier then realised how the bottles mess up the environment and that it seems a bit of a con too. Just drink tap water now and use me own bottle to drink it from.

Tap. Biggest con going. Most people are probably within a minute of a water cooler anyway. What p1sses mevoff is people chucking them in normal rubbish. If you want to waste your money, fine, but please don't use up our landfill as well. Morons.

You haven't said that you do anything of the sort, but steer clear of re-using a plastic 'mineral water' bottle for tap water. Better to go for a stainless steel, aluminium or polycarbonate bottle. Any plastic bottle or container used for food or drink should be BPA-free.

Any re-used bottled should really be washed after each use (like you would wash your cereal bowl) but how many of us honestly do that?

Tap water. I find it slightly weird that some people only ever drink bottled water.

I don't know about the UK, but in the US the bottled water industry doesn't fall within the purview of the Food and Drug Administration, it's under the Environmental Protection Agency. As a result, the industry is very lightly policed, which is why studies often find that the water is about as clean as if you'd scooped it out of the bowl in your crapper. Not the cistern, the bowl!

Always check the source for bottled water. It's not always as idyllic as you think, especially if it's "drinking" water and not "spring" water.

It's nigh-on impossible to go without ever drinking bottled water, but I prefer filtered tap water. I keep a Brita filter jug in my fridge. Tap water is regulated by the FDA and other agencies, so it's got a lot less poo per litre than the bottled stuff.

It isn't weird at all if you live in an area where the tap water tastes foul.

I lived in Torquay for six years and the tap water there tasted horrible so we drank quite a lot of bottled water but everywhere else around the country that I've lived was OK

Tap.

Does anyone remember the short lived Dasani bottled water? Coke's version of Peckham Spring.

I agree 100%. It's pointless unless you're in a country with a dodgy water supply. And even if you are they likely fill the bottles up with tap water anyway haha.
