Dead. Best known I'd guess from Battlestar Galatica. Compulsive Saturday night viewing before going out for the evening (& 3 2 1)

Names rang a bell now I remember. Took over from Michael Douglas in Streets of San Francisco.

We are scraping the barrel with these 'dead' thread these days

Battlestar Galactica always reminds me of my first trip to the States in 1980 when it was still a big show. Universal Studios had a ride with Cylons wandering around.

What memories from childhood, loved the original BG with Lorne Greene, Dirk Benedict and him, top show for the time.

2016 set the bar too high Kermy.

It'll be decades before we get a celebrity cull like that again!

Trouble is, everyone is a celebrity these days. Makes it seem like everyone is dying. In the old days it was just Shakespeare and Mozart. Now even Pete down the road has won X-Factor and almost beaten the Chaser.

Non-celebs like me and Zeki Fryers are in the minority.

I think my fear is that I might die and my mum will be there going "who is dead? James? Well at least we still have Olly Murs, that f**king moron from Gogglebox and Phillip Schofield".

Who wouldn't be rubbing their hands in glee if a particularly virulent strain of bubonic plague were to sweep through the Big Brother house or, perhaps, the Eggheads studio?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Yeah but there'd still be 5 or 6 people on Facebook eulogising like their best friend was dead just because they'd once answered a question correctly watching Eggheads at home in their pyjamas.
