I did one about 3 years ago which was to buy fish from a fish & chip shop as I hadn't for quite some years, only bought chips.

I made sure I didn't break this by buying fish in the February!

A dodgy way of doing a resolution.

I don't think I've bought fish from a fish & chip shop since so may make it again.

Usual one most people make but a first for me of joining a gym.

Contemplating whether this should be the year I try and find my father. Each year I think about it, time marches on, if I keep putting it off the opportunity Will be gone one day

Make sure you join the right gym. Different things suit different people. Things to consider are things like location. If it's an effort to get to, it's easier to sack it off. Close to home or work is best v

Right equipment / classes. Do you like classes? For some they can b very motivating, if there are classes are they at the time you'll be going. Don't pay health club prices if the only facility you'll use is the treadmill. Also set a goal, training aimlessly will soon lose its appeal

You should get an Induction and a proper plan (based on your goals) rhos should be part of the joining process and separate from any personal training

As for your dad, do it. You can worry about whether to speak to him if you find him.

Whatever you do good luck

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I challenge Part Time James to give up the following in 2017;

A. Sniffing ladies bicycle seats;
B. Paying strippers to kick you in the bollocks whilst calling you a 'dirty, dirty boy';
C. Adult baby sessions with a German Nanny who changes your nappy and then w***s you off;
D. Stalking Pippa Middleton;
E. Monthly 'Stephen Milligan' sessions;
F. 'Carbs before Marbs';

It's for your own good.

Oo, it was rather fortuitous that I stumbled upon this post. I hate to be pedantic but I have always preferred Kate Middleton to Pippa.

Do all gods overtime and ease my financials

get more head

develop a flat stomach but maintaining my same alcohol consumption.

Go see someone famous before death occurs. you knw, was speaking about G Michael to my Mrs around noon xmas day, about wishing to see him live in 17'...hours later, dead.

No lie.

Listen to even more Terence McKenna on you tube.

Start shopping instead at Aldi as its cheap and all veg is organic.

Eat breakfast in Breakfast club in East Croydon and be ready to pay the expected £15 for it.

Say no to my mates invites to a lads weekend at Butlins as they're all too often now, every two months in fact, and last time I went I was bored. Wanna go somewhere warm for once!

Eat more Lindt balls.

Agree completely. I said I would see him next time he toured. There will be no next time. Thinking of buying the tickets for Jeff Lynn's ELO now as there might not be another tour
