I always come on the train but with the strike I wont be able to travel on from Clapham.
Any tips/advice on driving. I was thinking about parking up 20/30 mins away and walking in.
What's the traffic like for an evening game?
I'm coming from Camberley. Thanks

I was going to come to this game but I am giving it a miss due to the rail strike and christmas shoppers everywhere. I live in bexley and always drive. It's a ball ache at the best of times parking . I would get there as early as you can and park as far away as you can . I think.there are a few websites where you can pay and park on someone's drive which might be less stress

I knew it, you are a fella.
You should be fine if you park 10 minutes walk away.

Overground from Clapham Junction to Surrey Quays, change for Overground again from Surrey Quays to Norwood Junction. Trains likely to be a tad busy though!

I've noticed quite a few people selling their ST's for this game.

If the strike goes ahead/continues on Wednesday it will be carnage everywhere in South London.

The game will not be postponed or delayed as it is being shown live on BT sport.

I would set out as early as you possibly can and park up wherever you can and be prepared to walk the last few miles if necessary.

Good luck and COYP.

I'll be doing the overground to Norwood Junction from Canada Water. Takes about 26 mins but depends upon where you are trying to get to/from.

To get back I'll have to try and get the train from NJ to Highbury and Islington (again the overground) and then a couple of tubes.

Alternatively a bus/uber to the nearest tube stop and go from there.

Either a brisk walk from East Croydon, or walk over to West Croydon and there are trains to NJ every 15 minutes or so.
