London Traffic Congestion - Worst City in Europe!

In the UK, the impact of all London’s traffic hotspots - and the potential cost to drivers - is 15 times higher than that of the second ranked city, Edinburgh. Glasgow and Birmingham follow, with Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Cardiff, Bradford and Belfast rounding out the top ten. Steve Gooding, RAC Foundation director, said: “The cost of congestion isn’t just measured in pounds and pence. "There is also a human price to pay, both in terms of missed appointments - anything from job interviews to family gatherings - and the impact of poor air quality. Not only the additional people themselves are causing most of the congestion as they move around, but the additional HGV lorries full of their imported goods/food that they crave from their homelands.
